WOMAN KILLED IN PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT AT NORTH 1ST STREET AND CEDAR AVENUE IN NORFOLK

Norfolk, Nebraska (November 4, 2019) – A 56-year-old woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on Friday in Norfolk, according to the NSP.

The deadly accident happened on Friday, November 1, at the intersection of North 1st Street and Cedar Avenue.

Police said the woman was crossing the street, outside a crosswalk, when she was hit by a vehicle driven by a 23-year-old man.

The woman was taken to Faith Regional Health Services, where she later died.

No further details were provided.

An investigation is underway.
