Three Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-80 near Gibbon
Gibbon, Nebraska (September 21, 2019) – Three people were killed, and several others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash Friday afternoon near Gibbon, according to the NSP.
The fatal crash happened at about 3:00 p.m. September 20, on eastbound Interstate 80, at mile marker 284.
NSP said five-passenger vehicles and two semi-trailers were involved in the collision.
Three people were killed in the crash. Several other people sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash.
The eastbound lanes of the interstate were closed following the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
