SAADIYO YUSUF MOHAMED DIES DAYS AFTER PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT ON MAPLE STREET IN OMAHA

Omaha, Nebraska (October 6, 2019) – The woman who was injured last month in a pedestrian accident in Omaha has died, according to the authorities.

The accident happened around 6:30 a.m. September 26, on Maple Street.

Authorities said Saadiyo Yusuf Mohamed, 21, was crossing the street when she was hit by a car.

Police said there is no crosswalk in the area.

Mohamed was taken to an Omaha hospital in critical condition where she died a week later.

An investigation is underway.
