SAADIYO MOHAMED CRITICALLY INJURED IN PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT ON MAPLE STREET IN OMAHA

Omaha, Nebraska (September 27, 2019) – A woman was critically injured in a pedestrian accident on Thursday in Omaha, according to the police.

The accident happened on Thursday, September 26, near 99th and Maple Streets.

Police said Saadiyo Mohamed, 21, was crossing Maple Street when she was hit by a westbound 2005 Honda Pilot.

Mohamed was rushed to Nebraska Medicine with life-threatening injuries.

Alcohol and speed were not factors in the crash.

An investigation is underway.
