Jim Harris Oct. 13, 2019

Omaha, Nebraska (October 13, 2019) – A 43-year-old Omaha man was critically injured in a two-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in Omaha, a local news source reported.

The fatal crash happened at about 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of Fontenelle Boulevard and the Northwest Radial.

Police said Mary J. Miller, 49, of Omaha, was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu northbound on Fontenelle Boulevard when it was struck by a southbound 2005 Kia Sedona driven by Paul J. Lee.

The Kia continued onto the median, where it hit a flagpole and a stone monument, ejecting Lee, who was not wearing a seat belt.

Lee was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center in critical condition.

Miller was also taken to the hospital with a broken wrist.

The crash remains under investigation.
