MOTORCYCLIST KILLED IN CRASH AT 72ND AND WIRT STREETS IN OMAHA

Omaha, Nebraska (October 19, 2019) – A man was killed Friday night in a motorcycle accident at an Omaha intersection, according to the police.

The accident occurred on Friday, October 18, at the intersection of 72nd and Wirt streets.

Police said the man was riding a motorcycle southbound on 72nd Street at a high rate of speed. A sedan pulled out from the west heading eastbound to turn northbound onto 72nd Street and was hit by the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was taken to Nebraska Medicine where he later died.

The police are conducting the investigation.
