LA VISTA MAN KILLED IN INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT AT FIRSTAR FIBER RECYCLING PLANT IN OMAHA
Omaha, Nebraska (September 6, 2019) – A 60-year-old La Vista man was killed Thursday morning at an Omaha recycling plant, according to the Omaha firefighters.
The accident was reported around 8:30 a.m. September 5, at Firstar Fiber recycling plant.
Police said the man was pinned underneath the bucket of a front end loader in the mechanics bay. A co-worker witnessed the accident, and another worker was also nearby.
Paramedics responded to the scene and declared the man dead. His name has not been disclosed.
Omaha police and OSHA are conducting the investigation.
