JONATHAN MERBOTH, DEBORAH HESTERMANN SERIOUSLY INJURED IN HEAD-ON CRASH ON NEBRASKA 2 IN LANCASTER COUNTY
Lancaster County, Nebraska (October 17, 2019) – Two people were seriously injured in a head-on crash Tuesday night in Lancaster County, east of Lincoln, a local news source reported.
The collision took place on Tuesday, October 15, on Nebraska 2 near 120th Street.
Deputies said Jonathan Merboth, 39, of Lincoln, was driving westbound on the highway when he crossed the median and collided head-on with an eastbound vehicle driven by Deborah Hestermann, 45, of Adams.
Both Merboth and Hestermann were taken to Bryan West with serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
