JAYCOBY ESTRADA KILLED IN BICYCLE ACCIDENT AT WASHINGTON AND 19TH STREETS IN BLAIR

Blair, Nebraska (August 24, 2019) – A sixth-grader was killed Friday morning in a bicycle accident in Blair, according to the police.

The deadly accident occurred just before 8:15 a.m. August 23, at Washington Street and 19th Street.

Police said Jaycoby Estrada, 11, was northbound on a bike crossing Washington Street when he was hit by a southbound semi-truck which was turning eastbound from 19th Street.

Estrada was pronounced dead at the scene. He attended Otte Middle School.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
