Holdrege Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on County Road 747 near Elm Creek
Elm Creek, Nebraska (September 23, 2019) – A 39-year-old Holdrege man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday night just south of Elm Creek in Phelps County, according to a local news source.
The crash happened around 8:15 p.m. September 22, in the area of County Road 747 and U.S. Highway 183.
NSP said the man was driving eastbound on County Road 747 when he ran a stop sign at the intersection and crashed into a recreational vehicle.
The impact caused the RV to roll into a ditch.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The RV driver and his passenger were uninjured in the crash. They were both wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
