Fare Napo Killed in Motorcycle Accident at 72nd and Wirt Streets in Omaha
Omaha, Nebraska (October 20, 2019) – A man was killed Friday night in a motorcycle accident at an Omaha intersection, according to the police.
The accident occurred on Friday, October 18, at the intersection of 72nd and Wirt streets.
Police said Fare Napo, 36, was riding a 2006 Suzuki GSX-R1000 motorcycle southbound on 72nd Street at a high rate of speed. A 2006 Chevy Impala turned from eastbound Wirt Street onto 72nd Street and was hit by the motorcycle.
Napo, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to Nebraska Medicine in critical condition where he later died.
The police are conducting the investigation.
