BOY HIT BY CAR, SERIOUSLY INJURED NEAR 18TH & VINTON IN OMAHA

Omaha, Nebraska (September 12, 2019) – A boy was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident Wednesday evening in Omaha, according to the police.

The accident occurred on Wednesday, September 11, near 18th & Vinton.

Police said the boy was playing, rolling a Gatorade bottle off a canopy on a building and he ended up in the street where he was hit by a westbound car.

Paramedics responded to the scene and took the child to Nebraska Medicine with serious injuries.

An investigation is ongoing.
