2 INJURED IN MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT AT 48TH AND BENTON STREETS IN LINCOLN
Lincoln, Nebraska (September 16, 2019) – Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident Saturday night in Lincoln, a local news source reported.
The crash occurred around 7:40 p.m. September 14, at the intersection of 48th Street and Benton Street.
Officials said a motorcycle with two people was traveling northbound on 48th Street when a southbound car made a left turn in front of the motorcycle, resulting in a collision.
The rider of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital in stable condition while the passenger was listed in critical condition.
The car driver left the scene but returned five minutes later. They were arrested for leaving the scene of an injury/accident and DWI.
The crash remains under investigation.
