Papillion, Nebraska (August 21, 2019) – A young girl was critically injured in a pedestrian accident Tuesday afternoon in downtown Papillion, according to the police.
The accident happened around 4:00 p.m. August 20, at the intersection of 2nd and Washington streets.
According to police, witnesses said the girl was crossing Washington Street with her brother when she was hit by a vehicle.
The girl was taken to Children’s Hospital and Medical Center in critical condition.
The car driver remained at the scene after the accident.
The Sarpy County Crash Response Team is conducting the investigation.
