TWO INJURED IN CAR CRASH NEAR HIGHWAY 50 AND BUFFALO ROAD IN SPRINGFIELD

Springfield, Nebraska (September 28, 2019) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday night in Springfield, according to a local news source.

The collision took place at about 9:38 p.m. September 27, near the intersection of Highway 50 and Buffalo Road.

Officials said a black Mazda Millenia and a white Honda Civic collided for unknown reasons near the intersection.

The impact caused one of the vehicles to roll over and go into a ditch.

Two people were taken to the hospital for treatment. One of them had critical injuries, while the second victim had serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
