Pedestrian Critically Injured In Crash Near 98th And Maple Streets In Omaha

Omaha, Nebraska (September 26, 2019) – A woman in her 20s was critically injured in a pedestrian accident Thursday morning in Omaha, a local news source reported.

The accident was reported around 6:30 a.m. near the intersection of 98th and Maple streets.

Police said the woman was crossing the intersection mid-block, outside a crosswalk, when she was hit by a westbound car.

The woman was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

No further details were provided.

An investigation is underway.
