Scottsbluff, Nebraska (September 21, 2019) – Injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash on Friday in Scottsbluff, according to a local news release.

The crash occurred on Friday, September 20, at the intersection of 14th Avenue and Highway 26 in front of Target.

Police said a late model Honda CR-V was heading northbound on 14th Avenue when the driver failed to yield before entering the highway and broadsided a Honda Civic that was traveling westbound on Highway 26.

The impact pushed the Civic off the highway into the ditch at the side of the road.

Authorities said the collision was an injury crash, but no one was taken to the hospital.

The CR-V driver was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way.

The crash remains under investigation.
