Omaha, Nebraska (September 8, 2019) – The man who was killed in an industrial accident Thursday morning at an Omaha recycling plant has been identified as Dilaver Gasa,60, of La Vista, according to the authorities.
The accident happened around 8:30 a.m. September 5, at Firstar Fiber recycling plant.
Police said Gasa was pinned underneath the bucket of a front end loader in the mechanics bay. A co-worker witnessed the accident, and another worker was also nearby.
Paramedics responded to the scene and declared Gasa dead.
Omaha police and OSHA are conducting the investigation.
