Gretna, Nebraska (September 15, 2019) – The man who was killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Gretna has been identified as Brian Bullington, 46, according to the authorities.
The fatal crash occurred on Friday, September 13, on Highway 6, west of Highway 31.
Officials said Bullington came over the top of the hill, noticed the traffic a little too late, braked, crossed the center line, and crashed head-on into another vehicle.
Bullington was airlifted to Nebraska Medicine where he was pronounced dead.
The other driver, Elizabeth Beckenhauer, 28, was taken to a Bergan hospital with minor injuries.
The crash closed Highway 6 from Highway 31 to 220th Street.
The crash remains under investigation.
