Blair, Nebraska (October 1, 2019) – Five people were injured in a three-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon in Blair, according to a local news source.

The crash occurred around 2:34 p.m. on September 29, in the 2000 block of South Highway 30, near Kellie Drive.

Police said a 2011 Kia Sorento and a 2011 Chrysler Town and Country van were traveling northbound on the highway. A southbound 2008 Chevrolet Equinox crossed over the median into the northbound lane and crashed head-on into the Sorento.

The impact caused the Equinox to spin around and hit the van.

The Equinox driver, her passenger, the Sorento driver, the van driver, and an infant were taken to Memorial Community Hospital and Health System for treatment.

The Equinox driver had possible head injuries.

Airbags in the Sorento and the Equinox were deployed.

All drivers and passengers were wearing seat belts, and the infant was in a safety seat at the time of the crash.

The crash totaled the three vehicles.

The crash remains under investigation.
