Omaha, Nebraska (September 5, 2019) – Four people were injured, two of them seriously, in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in Omaha, according to a local news source.
The crash was reported around 12:58 p.m. September 4, in the area of 60th Street and State Street.
According to a preliminary investigation, a 2019 Dodge Ram pickup truck was heading northbound on 60th Street at a high rate of speed when a 2019 Chevy Malibu which was stopped at the intersection pulled onto 60th Street, resulting in a collision.
The impact caused both vehicles to veer off the roadway.
The Dodge driver was taken to the hospital with serious abdominal injuries. Charges are pending against her.
Two adult passengers in the Dodge sustained non-life threatening injuries to their legs and head.
The Malibu driver was taken to Bergan Mercy with serious abdominal injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
