Madison County, Nebraska (October 3, 2019) – Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Madison County, according to a local news source.
The crash was reported shortly after 8:30 p.m. on October 2, on Highway 32, a mile east of 121 junction.
Authorities said an eastbound 2003 Chevy Trailblazer crossed the center line and collided with a westbound 2019 Nissan Rogue.
A while later, a 2017 Ford Edge drove through the scene and hit the Trailblazer.
The Rogue driver was declared dead at the scene.
The Trailblazer driver was taken to Faith Regional Health Services with life-threatening injuries where he was pronounced dead.
A passenger in the Ford was taken to Faith Regional with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash closed the highway for about three hours.
The crash remains under investigation.
