Kearney, Nebraska (October 29, 2019) – Three people were injured in a six-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck Monday morning in Kearney, according to a local news source.
The crash happened at the intersection of 25th and Second Avenue.
Police said a vehicle, a City of Kearney utility truck and a semi-truck, were heading eastbound on 25th approaching Second Avenue when they collided. The three vehicles then crashed into two other vehicles at the intersection.
A third drove onto the curb to avoid being struck.
Three people were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
